Randallville – Details

When the Little Moccasin Gold Mine first opened in 1874 it included a miner’s camp nearby.  Then in 1888, after the Double Diamond Railroad was constructed, making transporting manpower and supplies to the mine much easier, the camp was moved down the mountain and the old site was converted to a support area for the mine.  The new camp has grown over the years and now is known as Randallville.  The mine is still a major employer for the area but now there are many other businesses too.
